Jaylon Davis scored 14 points and Anthony Spencer hit a 3-pointer in the final minute to give the Paso Robles High boys basketball team a 48-45 victory over Templeton on Friday on the second day of the Atascadero Holiday Tournament.
Spencer finished with 11 points for the Bearcats (8-3), and Josh Oliver chipped in eight.
Clark Burton had a team-high 12 points for Templeton (2-8), and Matt Jardini scored 11.
Paso Robles led 27-17 at halftime and 38-30 heading into the fourth.

The Bearcats play in the consolation final against Roseville today at 11:45 a.m.
Atascadero 84, Montclair 68
Five players scored in double figures as Atascadero advanced to the championship of its home tournament.
Taylor Kim led the way with 19 points, and Jared Stuedemann (15 points), Robbie Berwick (14), Joe Johnson (12) and Cameren Fetzer (12) also reached double digits.
Montclair led 12-11 after one quarter, but the Greyhounds (9-2) exploded for 29 second-quarter points to Montclair’s 15.
Atascadero will face San Francisco’s University in the final today at 2:45 p.m.
Reed 55, Arroyo Grande 47
Cobe Williams hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points in the loss for the Eagles (8-5) at the Las Vegas Prep Championship.
Andrew Midyett scored 12, but Arroyo Grande fell behind 11-4 after one quarter. Alonzo Vega scored 23 for Reed.
Earlier in the day, Carson Wack scored a game-high 17 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Eagles past Alaska’s Lathrop, 62-51.
Williams also made four 3-pointers for Arroyo Grande, and finished with 14 points. The Eagles led 30-23 at halftime before outscoring the Malemutes 24-16 in the third.
Dana Hills 53, Mission Prep 45
Quinton Adlesh scored 33 points, including all 18 first-half points for the Royals (7-4).
Adlesh made 10 3-pointers but nobody else for Mission Prep scored more than two points.
The Royals led 18-16 at halftime, but were outscored 37-27 in the second half. Dana Hills made 10 3-pointers in the game.
Coast Union 56, Caruthers 52, OT
Quinten Raethke scored 16 points before leaving the game late with an injury, and Coast Union (7-4) outscored Caruthers 6-2 in overtime at the Coast Union Invitational.
Logan Brandt had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Broncos, who play Immanuel today at noon.
Immanuel 48, Morro Bay 36
Solomon Ruddell recorded a triple-double in the loss for the Pirates (0-13) at the Coast Union Invitational.
Ruddell had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. Morro Bay plays Caruthers and King City today.
Mission Prep 74, Avalon 39
I’raya Smith poured in a game-high 23 points to lead the Royals (6-5) over the host school at the Avalon Invitational Tournament.
Noelle Laird scored 16 points for Mission Prep, which led 25-4 after one quarter and 41-19 at halftime.
Earlier in the day, the Royals disposed of Vaughn, 68-19, behind 15 points from Laird and 13 from Jacqueline San Jule.
Mission Prep outscored Vaughn 24-3 in the second half.
The Royals will play in today’s championship game at noon against Bishop Diego.
Templeton 64, Lindsay 58
The Eagles (7-1) shot 20 of 25 from the free-throw line and outscored Lindsay 27-7 in the second quarter at the Tulare Mid-Winter Invitational. Mari Stewart registered another double-double, scoring 24 points and grabbing 19 rebounds.
Autumn Russell contributed 14 points and was 8 of 10 from the foul line for Templeton, which led 38-16 at halftime.
The Eagles play Mission Oaks today at 12:45 p.m. in the fifth-place game.
Paso Robles 55, Santa Ynez 26
Gwen Lundy scored a game-high 18 points to lead Paso Robles (1-9) to its first victory of the season at the Harold Oliveira Holiday Classic at Righetti High.
The Bearcats outscored the Pirates 17-1 in the second quarter, and led 39-18 heading into the fourth quarter.
Kailey Warren scored 14 points, and Jamika Martin scored eight.
Atascadero 62, Nipomo 44
The Greyhounds (7-4) jumped to a 37-11 halftime lead and cruised to a win at Righetti. Maddie Leong scored a team-high 16 points, and Chandler Haskell and Sarah Wulff each scored 11.
Taylor Nevitt scored 17 points for the Titans (2-9), and Kylie Mendez scored 11.
Earlier in the day, Sabrina Degnan recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Greyhounds past Cabrillo, 50-39. Haskell (11 points) and Leong (10) joined Degnan in double figures.
Atascadero led 15-6 after the first quarter and 28-17 at halftime.
The Greyhounds play Santa Ynez today at 6 p.m.
In a 52-49 loss to Cabrillo, Nevitt scored 13 points for the Titans, who led 21-15 at halftime but were outscored 19-8 in the third quarter.
The two teams combined for 42 fouls. Cabrillo went 23 for 35 from the free-throw line. Nipomo was 13 of 19 on foul shots.
The Titans face Madera today at 10:30 a.m.
Crossroads Christian 35, Coastal Christian 25
Roni Garrison had 10 points, 18 rebounds and eight blocks in the loss for the Conquerors (1-6) at the Valley Christian Academy Holiday I-Charge Tournament.
Hannah Brennan chipped in 10 rebounds, four points, two steals and a pair of assists.
Coastal Christian plays today at 12:30 p.m. against Cuyama Valley.
Paso Robles 2, Santa Maria 1
Emilee Brown scored with seven minutes remaining to lift the Bearcats (6-2) on the opening day of the Santa Maria Invitational.
Karol Rendon opened the scoring for Paso Robles, and Natalya Marcove made two saves.
Earlier in the day, the Bearcats tied Dos Pueblos 2-2 before falling 5-4 on penalty kicks. Rendon and Brown both scored for Paso Robles, and Aundrea Mendoza had an assist. Marcove made six saves.
The Bearcats play Oceanview and Morro Bay today.
