Arroyo Grande High’s Elijah Holt won the boys invitational 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 14.20 seconds, a personal record, and teammate Joey Reeves placed first in the invitational pole vault (15 feet, 2 inches) at the West Coast Relays in Clovis on Saturday.
The Arroyo Grande girls invitational 1,600-meter relay team of Demi Wack, Nicole Pitman, Jade Fuller and Christine Moreno had a season-best time of 4 minutes, 1.23 seconds to place second.
Madison Jacobs placed second in the girls invitational shot put (43-10), and third in the invitational discus (131-4).
Fuller ran a personal best in the invitational 800 (2:17.98), earning fourth place, and Wack earned fourth place in the invitational 300 low hurdles (48.57). Teammate Dresden Smith was sixth in 49.75.

Elizabeth Heyde finished out the girls side by placing seventh in the invitational 1,600 with a PR of 5:07.61.
For the Paso Robles boys, Ben Nagengast placed first in the seeded shot put (48-3 3/4).
Jonah Cole finished second in the invitational boys discus with a mark of 146-11 for the Bearcats.
On the girls side, Samantha Anderson placed first in the seeded 100 (12.40). She was also a part of the seeded 1,600 relay, with teammates Madison Moore, Elle Bernal and Ashley Davis, that placed first in 4:10.68.
Morro Bay’s Allie Sulaitis won the girls 800 in 2:17.0 at the meet in Carpinteria.
On the boys side for Morro Bay, Billy Verdin cleared 5-11 in the high jump for second place, and Austin Lay finished fourth in the mile with a time 4:32.
For the Nipomo girls, Taylor Nevitt won the discus (118-7).

Tyler Gamble won the 100-meter freestyle in 50.60 and the 50 freestyle in 22.67 in the Eagles’ win.
Hisam El-effensi took the 200 freestyle (1:50.52) and the 100 backstroke (1:00.65) for the Arroyo Grande boys (6-2).
