The Templeton High baseball team defeated Nipomo 11-8 in the third-place game of the Atascadero Easter Tournament on Wednesday.
Templeton trailed 4-0 early on but rallied with 10 hits to give starter Chase Koehler the win.
Koehler gave up seven runs — four earned — on three hits and six walks in 4 1⁄3 innings for the win before giving way to Mitchell Pendley, who pitched 2 2⁄3 shutout innings for the save.
Pendley was 2 for 4 with four RBI, Michael Frigon was 2 for 2 with three walks, three stolen bases and four runs, and Spencer Walsh was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI for Templeton (10-1).

Scott Nichols was 2 for 2 with a walk and two runs for Nipomo (7-8).
Morro Bay fell 7-5 to Santa Ynez in the fifth place game.
Colt Caravalho was 2 for 3 with a double, and starter Alex Rodriguez gave up two runs on four hits in four innings of work in a no-decision for Morro Bay (6-12).
Elsewhere, Atascadero again rallied for a win for the second time in as many days, erasing a three-run deficit in a 6-5 win over Rim of the World in the seventh-place game.
Nathaniel Javine was 3 for 3 with a run and a, RBI, Ethan Hicks was 2 for 4 with a run, one RBI and a stolen base, and Corbin Meikle had a two-run triple and a run as part of a four-run sixth inning for the Greyhounds.
Holden Nix got the win for Atascadero, giving up five runs on 10 hits.
Arroyo Grande at Don Lugo Tournament
The Eagles (6-4-1) defeated Marantha 5-1 in their first action of the tournament in Chino.
Brett Ranes was 1 for 2 with two RBI, and Chris Davidson was 2 for 3 with two runs for Arroyo Grande (6-4-1).
Paso Robles at Righetti Tournament
The Bearcats fell 11-1 to Alemany in their second game of the tournament in Santa Maria.
