San Luis Obispo County will be well represented tonight in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section high school football playoffs with seven county teams in action.

Only two of those teams — Arroyo Grande (8-2) and Mission Prep (9-1) — will be at home. Arroyo Grande, which was the Western Division champion last season and the runner-up in 2010, hosts Hart at 7 p.m. in the Northern Division playoffs. In the Northeast Division, Mission Prep is the top seed and will host Frazier Mountain at 7:30 p.m.

San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Atascadero and St. Joseph all made the Northern Division playoffs, giving the PAC 7, including Arroyo Grande, five of the 16 teams in the Northern Division playoffs. San Luis Obispo (6-4) plays at Canyons at 7 p.m., Paso Robles (6-4) plays at Valencia, the division's No. 2 seed, at 7 and Atascadero (4-6) plays at Palmdale, the division's No. 1 seed, at 7:30 p.m.

In the Western Division playoffs, Morro Bay (7-3) and Templeton (7-3) will be on the road tonight. Morro Bay is at Inglewood at 7, and Templeton is at Santa Monica at 7:30 p.m. Morro Bay and Templeton are two of three Los Padres League teams in the Western Division playoffs. The third is Lompoc, the No. 1 seed in the division.
