The Templeton High girls volleyball team lost its first Los Padres League match of the season Tuesday night, falling 25-18, 24-26, 25-22, 25-23 at Cabrillo. 

Heather Fields had 13 kills to lead the Eagles (13-2, 10-1). Carly Roth had 10 kills, Sydney Roth had 36 assists and Lindsey Wyatt added 25 digs for Templeton. 

Atascadero 3, St. Joseph 0

The Greyhounds (15-7, 6-4 PAC 7) swept the visiting Knights 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

Chandler Haskell had 11 kills, Sophia Guerrier had 10 and four assists, and Kendall Featherstone and Mary Kate Evans each had eight kills.

Sabrina Degan added 25 assists for Atascadero.

Nipomo 3, Santa Maria 0

Taylor Nevitt had 12 kills and seven aces to lead the Titans (16-7, 8-2 LPL) in a 25-6. 25-7, 25-10 sweep of the Saints. 

Cristina Ozzimo had 27 assists and three aces, Paige Waymire had eight kills and five aces, Sami Baker had eight kills and one block and Kiana Worth had five aces and five kills for Nipomo.

Coastal Christian 3, Shandon 0

The Conquerors (13-1, 10-0 Coast Valley League) swept the Outlaws 25-7, 25-5, 25-7. 

Bethany Young had 14 digs, JoAnn Lindstaedt had 18 assists, Leslie Henry had 12 kills and Roni Garrison had seven aces for Coastal Christian.

Coast Union 3, Valley Christian 0

Sage Radecki led the Broncos (11-5, 9-1 Coast Valley League) with 27 assists, six kills and seven digs in Coast Union’s 25-8, 25-8, 25-23 sweep of Valley Christian. 

Karla Soto had eight kills and nine digs, and Amy Avina had 11 aces for the Broncos.

Cuyama 3, North County Christian 1

The Crusaders (1-20, 1-9 Coast Valley League) lost 20-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-15 on the road.

Aliyah Morrison led North County Christian with 16 kills, Janelle Honeycutt added 11 kills and three aces and Kelsey McRoy had 17 assists.

Mission Prep 3, Morro Bay 1

Grace Ready had 14 kills, eight digs and six aces as the Royals (6-8) beat the visiting Pirates 25-13, 25-15, 21-25, 25-15.

Natalie Brescia had 20 assists, eight kills and three aces, and Noelle Laird had eight kills and seven digs for Mission Prep.

GIRLS TENNIS

Arroyo Grande 13, Orcutt Academy 5

The Eagles (16-1, 12-0 PAC 7) swept singles to win their last regular-season match before the PAC 7 tournament later this week. 

In singles, Lauren Hayashi won 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, Sophie Whittle won 6-0, 6-1, 6-1 and Alex Mero won 6-0, 7-5, 6-1 for Arroyo Grande.

San Luis Obispo 11, Righetti 7

The Tigers (13-6, 9-3 PAC 7) clinched a second-place finish in the PAC 7 with the win against the Warriors. 

San Luis Obispo’s Maya O’Brien swept 6-2, 6-0, 6-1 in singles, and the Tigers’ doubles team of Lauren Hutkin and Ivee Collins swept 6-3, 6-0. 7-5.

Santa Ynez 17, Nipomo 1

The Titans’ (2-13, 1-11 LPL) Kelly Springford won her only set 7-6 (9-7) against the Pirates. 

Cabrillo 16, Morro Bay 2

Sierra Wilcox and Tess Badrigan each won a singles set 6-2 as the Pirates (5-10, 4-8 LPL) lost to the Conquistadores.

Santa Maria 15, Coast Union 3

Alex Zaragoza swept 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 for the Broncos (3-13) in singles.

BOYS WATER POLO

Paso Robles 14, Atascadero 7

Morgan Moore and Daniel Maloney each scored four goals for the Bearcats (13-11, 3-3 PAC 7) in their win.

Collin Moore had two goals for Paso Robles, and four other Bearcats scored one goal apiece.

Goalie Ben Nagengast had 12 saves for Paso Robles.
