The San Luis Obispo High girls tennis team dominated doubles play en route to a 10-8 road victory over San Marcos on Friday.
The Tigers (5-4), who won seven of nine doubles sets, were led by the team of Caroline Burke and Anna Lippold, which swept 7-6 (7-5), 6-1, 6-2.
Darla Berkefeld and Courtney Gallagher combined to win 6-7 (6-8), 7-6 (7-5), 6-1, and Joelle Lewis and Lauren Hutkin won 0-6, 6-2, 6-2 for San Luis Obispo.

The Arroyo Grande High boys water polo team won two games at the Irvine Tournament, defeating Trabuco Hills 10-6 and Santa Ynez 11-2.
Against Trabuco Hills, Jack Empey led the Eagles (5-1) with six goals, and Nick Valente added two more.
Against the Pirates, Nick Chapman led the way with three goals. Kevin Stater and Taylor Ross each had two goals, and Clint Boucette had 12 saves in goal for Arroyo Grande.
Morro Bay boys water polo loses twice
The Morro Bay High boys water polo team lost both of its games at the San Gabriel Shootout, falling to El Rancho 15-5 before losing to Wilson 11-10.
Against El Rancho, Keary Kennedy and Marco Maffiolo both had two goals for the Pirates (5-5). Kai Schennicke added another goal, and goalkeeper Jack Krull had five saves for Morro Bay.
Maffiolo had six goals against Wilson. Grant Johnson had three goals, and Chandler Richmond had one for the Pirates.
Krull had eight saves in goal against Wilson for Morro Bay, which plays in its next game of the tournament today at 9 a.m.
