Prep Roundup: Mission Prep rolls past Australian basketball team

The duo of Andy Rowley and Quinton Adlesh led Mission Prep (14-3) to a 62-37 boys basketball victory over visiting Trinity Prep of Perth, Australia, on Thursday.

Rowley and Adlesh each finished with 16 points, and Zach Allmon added a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Royals.


Coast Union 7, Mission Prep 2

Victor Casas led the Broncos (7-1-2) to a victory over the Royals with a game-high five goals.

Luis Dealba and Eduardo Padilla each added goals for Coast Union, and Broncos goalie Juan Leonardo had four saves.


Templeton 4, Lompoc 1

Three first-half goals propelled the Eagles past the Braves.

Templeton’s Courtney Elterman, Annie Mae Bohnsack, and Lindsey Wyatt each scored in the first half before Wyatt added a second goal in the second half.

Sammy Schmidt and Brianna Baxley combined for three saves.

Morro Bay 4, Santa Maria 1

The Pirates (1-12-1, 1-3-1 LPL) defeated the Saints to grab their first victory of the season.

Morro Bay’s Tess Volkoz, Macey Durgeson, Brook McClellan and Elsa Ruiz all scored goals.

Goalie Elsa Ruiz had three saves for the Pirates.

Mission Prep 3, Coast Union 1

Victoria Gill, Scarlett Harris and Sidney Rathjens all scored for the Royals (7-5-1), and Ella Moberg had 11 first-half saves as Mission Prep cruised to the home victory.


Righetti 11, San Luis Obispo 6

The Tigers (10-8, 3-2 PAC7) could not slow down the Warriors’ Miranda Schrader whose nine goals led Righetti to victory.

Elizabeth Waddell scored five goals for San Luis Obispo and Kacie Gin added one.
