The Arroyo Grande high football team clinched the No. 2 seed in the CIF-Southern Section Western Division playoffs, two other San Luis Obispo County teams received berths in their respective divisions and Mission Prep was left out of the postseason picture with an 8-2 record.
Arroyo Grande (9-1, 6-0 PAC 7) will be the only county team to host a playoff game, squaring of against Dos Pueblos (3-7) Friday at 7:30 p.m. Serra of Gardena (8-2) clinched the No. 1 seed in the division. The two played last year in the division championship, where Arroyo Grande fell 35-10.
In the same bracket, San Luis Obispo (7-3, 4-2), an at-large selection, will travel to play Adolfo Camarillo.
In the Northwest Division, Templeton (5-5, 2-2 Los Padres League) clinched the third playoff spot out of its league and will travel to play Carpinteria (7-3) in a first-round matchup.

Righetti (7-3, 4-2 PAC 7) was the second-place team out of the PAC 7. Atascadero (6-4, 3-3 PAC 7), which finished fourth, was denied at at-large spot.
