Eagles girls golf team stays unbeaten

The Arroyo Grande High girls golf team improved its overall record in duals to 4-0 on Monday afternoon with a 9-hole 255-256 PAC 7 win over Righetti at Rancho Maria Golf Course.

The Warriors’ Melanie Johnson earned medalist honors, shooting a 3-over 38, but balanced scores pushed the Eagles (2-0 PAC 7) to the team win.

Emma Fuhs carded a personal-best 47 for Arroyo Grande, while Anna Zhang added a 48. Ramie Castilleja (who shot a 51) and Megan Donegan (52) weren’t far behind.

Paso Robles 273, San Luis Obispo 318

Claire Baldal was the medalist, shooting an 8-over 44 for the Bearcats at Hunter Ranch.

Ashley Levanduski carded a 53 for Paso Robles (3-2, 1-2 PAC 7), and teammate Kaitlyn Bedell added a score of 54.Sam Tsau paced the Tigers by shooting a 54.

Morro Bay 275, Santa Maria 332

Led by a medalist performance by Michelle Cordova, the Pirates beat the Saints in a Los Padres League dual on Cypress Ridge’s front 9.

Cordova shot a 12-over 48, while teammates Jennifer Baltimore and Gina Wongwatcharanon each carded a 51.
