Four area schools will host girls volleyball playoff matches Tuesday, according to CIF-Southern Section playoff pairings released Sunday.
In Division 1A, PAC 7 champion San Luis Obispo (24-6) will host West Ranch (17-14), the Foothill League’s third-place finisher, while Paso Robles (19-6), which finished second in the PAC 7, will host Glendora (19-15), the third-place team from the Baseline League. Both games are at 7 p.m.
Morro Bay (9-14), which finished third in the Los Padres League, will host Mayfield (16-8) in a Division 3AA playoff game at 7 p.m.. Mayfield is the division’s third seed and was the co-runner up in the Prep League.
Coastal Christian gets to host a Division 5A playoff game after finishing 14-6 and second in the Coast Valley League. The Conquerors face West Valley Christian (8-4), the third-place team from the Omega League, in a 7 p.m. game.

Arroyo Grande and Atascadero face first-round road games in Division 1A play. The Eagles (15-5, third in the PAC 7) travel to Foothill (15-11, second in the Century League), and the Greyhounds (12-11, fourth in the PAC 7) head to Laguna Beach (18-8, the Orange Coast League champion), the division’s No. 4 seed overall.
In Division 3AA, Templeton (8-12, third in the LPL) travels to Rialto (14-3, second in the San Andreas League).
Today, Nipomo (17-13) travels to Tustin, an 8-8 at-large team from the Empire League, in a wild-card round game. The winner advances to play at Chadwick (23-0, Prep League champ), the division’s No. 1 seed overall, on Tuesday.
In Division 5A, Shandon (17-9, third in the CVL) travels to Shalhevet (27-4, second in the Mulholland League).
BOYS WATER POLO
Nipomo (17-7) will host Arroyo Valley (13-3, San Andres League runner-up) in a CIF-Southern Section Division 4 playoff match Thursday. The Titans earned the division’s No. 3 seed by finishing second in the LPL to No. 1 seed Santa Ynez this season.
Arroyo Grande, which finished 18-5 and second in the PAC 7, travels to Baseline champion Los Osos.
In the wild-card round Tuesday, Paso Robles (12-14, third in the PAC 7) will host Rancho Cucamonga (10-7, third in the Baseline League) at 3:15 p.m., and San Luis Obispo (15-14, fourth in the PAC 7) travels to San Gabriel Valley League runner-up Downey (21-5).
