The Arroyo Grande girls tennis team lost its first match of the season, falling 13-5 in a nonleague match at San Marcos on Monday.
Caitlin Milich, Mia McKinstry and Lauren Hayashi all won one singles set for the Eagles (12-1), who are ranked No. 7 in Division III.
The doubles team of Stephani and Amber Domako also won a set for Arroyo Grande.
“We played high quality, challenging tennis today with the intent of elevating our levels of tennis for the weeks ahead,” Eagles coach Lori Hollister said.

Marissa McClain won medalist honors for the Greyhounds, shooting a 46.

Tori Sepulveda won medalist honors after carding a 44 over nine holes at the Oaks Course at Blacklake Golf Resort.
Kim Bergin shot a 47 for the Bearcats (5-4, 3-1 PAC 7), and Ashley Levanduski and Niki Todaro each carded a 50.Sierra Martinez carded a 55 to lead Pioneer Valley.

The Royals got a 25-13, 25-11, 25-19 road victory.
Senior middle blocker Andrea Fernandez had a team-high 10 kills and 19 digs to go along with three blocks for Mission Prep (7-3).
“Andrea Fernandez has been carrying the team a lot lately,” Royals coach Michelle Lakey said. “She plays a huge role with the team. She’s a big leader.
“She’s had double digits in kills and digs a lot lately and is a great defensive player as well as our kill leader.”
Sadie Casacca added eight kills, 10 digs and three aces, and Deirdre Laird had 26 assists.
The Royals had 15 aces as a team.
