Mitchell Hollingsworth helped keep Arroyo Grande High at the hunt at the top of the PAC 7 standings, going 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI in the Eagles’ 9-5 win over Atascadero on Friday.
Brady Muth was 2 for 4 with two doubles and one RBI for Arroyo Grande (12-3, 4-2), and Kyle Raubinger had eight strikeouts in the win.
Bryce Cherry had three hits, including a double and an RBI, while Luke Allen and Mitchell Angeloni had two hits apiece for Atascadero (9-8, 4-5).
The Eagles trail first place Paso Robles by 1½ games.
