Alessia Weckenmann of San Luis Obispo High and Stina Hansson of Arroyo Grande both earned medalist honors by carding 38s at two different PAC 7 girls golf duals Monday.
Hansson’s win came in a 234-267 team victory for the Eagles over Atascadero at Chalk Mountain Golf Course, as she birdied holes six and seven en route to a personal best. Arroyo Grande’s score was a CIF-qualifying number.
Karissa Mattimoe and Sydney Johnson also had personal bests on the course for the Eagles, shooting 45 apiece. Corie Bruno led the Greyhounds with a 48.
Despite Weckenmann’s performance, the Tigers (2-5, 1-4 PAC 7) fell 260-274 to Paso Robles at Dairy Creek Golf Course, as no other San Luis Obispo players shot lower than 57. Ashley Levanduski posted the top score for the Bearcats at 45, followed by Kim Bergin’s 48.
