Prep girls tennis roundup: Arroyo Grande tops Mission Prep 15-3

The Arroyo Grande girls tennis team beat Mission Prep 15-3 on Tuesday.

Erica Egg swept 6-2, 6-0, 6-1 and the tandem of Josephine Graeber and Lauren Midyett won 6-2, 6-1, 6-0 for the Eagles (10-2, 8-0 PAC 8). Arroyo Grande’s team of Renee Whalen and Casey Lieberman won the two sets they played together 6-4, 6-2.

Mission Prep’s Grace Cegelski took a set 6-4, Maggie Spear won a set 7-6 (7-5) and Avery Munster picked up a set 6-0.

Atascadero 10, Paso Robles 8

Krista Nativadad took two out of three sets for the Bearcats, and Sara Torres won 6-2, 6-0 before dropping a set 2-6. The doubles team of Ronnesha Nunez and Siena Berry also took two of three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

Morro Bay 17, Santa Maria 1

The Pirates were led by Gaia Relandini, who swept 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 and Leonie Koch, who also swept 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. Skye Schwellenbach won 6-2, 6-0, 6-0 and June Janzen and Kaylee Denham won 6-2, 6-1, 6-0 for Morro Bay (5-6, 3-5 Los Padres League), who face Cabrillo on Thursday.

Santa Ynez 12, Templeton 6

Mili Prost dropped a set 4-6, before winning 6-2, 6-2 for Templeton (5-5, 3-5 LPL), who takes on Lompoc on Thursday in Lompoc.
