Merissa Brancart set the table all night for San Luis Obispo in the Tigers' straight set 3-0 win over Paso Robles on Tuesday night. Brancart finished the match with 41 assists and seven digs in the 25-13, 25-14, 25-18 win.
Outside hitter Holland Boege had 16 kills, nine digs and four aces for San Luis Obispo. Kiara Gable led Paso Robles (4-2, 1-1 PAC 8) with 10 kills, five digs and two blocks.
San Luis Obispo sisters Morgan and Rilee Day had seven digs, one ace and five kills, 12 digs, respectively. After the win, Tigers coach Marci Beddall was looking ahead to Thursday's match against Arroyo Grande.
"It was a really good game leading up to AG," Beddall said. "I think that Paso and AG have similar styles. Paso really pushed us to be creative on offense."
The Tigers moved to 7-7 overall and 2-0 in the PAC 8.
Paso Robles (4-2, 1-1 PAC 8) hits the road to play St. Joseph on Thursday.
St. Joseph 3, Atascadero 1
Jessie Featherstone had 19 kills and 11 digs, and Kaylie Griffin added eight kills and two blocks for Atascadero. Brooke Harbottle had 28 assists and 14 digs in the loss for the Greyhounds (7-6, 0-2 PAC 8).
Atascadero faces Mission Prep at home Thursday.
Mission Prep 3, Pioneer Valley 0
Jennifer Laird led the Royals to a 25-15, 25-10, 25-10 win. Laird had 12 kills, 10 digs and one ace.
"She can really do some damage when she gets it rolling," coach Charles Fox said.
Madison Bonchich added 11 kills and six blocks and Jena Kelly had four aces for Mission Prep (9-3, 1-1 PAC 8).
The Royals play again Thursday at Atascadero.
Arroyo Grande 3, Righetti 0
Arroyo Grande's Ashlyn Herlihy and Emily Sonny led the team with 18 and 17 kills, respectively, in the 25-23, 25-12, 25-18 win. Kate Empey had 12 digs.
Arroyo Grande (8-2, 2-0 PAC 8) hosts San Luis Obispo on Thursday.
Morro Bay 3, Cabrillo 1
Morro Bay got its fourth win of the season in a league match on the road against Cabrillo on Tuesday night, winning 25-19, 25-8, 21-25, 25-15.
Ellie Fryer had 16 kills, six blocks and seven aces for the Pirates.
Morro Bay (4-2, 2-0 Los Padres League) is on the road again Thursday at Templeton.
Coast Union 3, Cuyama Valley 1
The Broncos won 25-17, 14-25, 25-14, 25-13, led by Xue DiMaggio, who had nine kills. Gigi Stoothoff had six kills and six aces and Reagan Kniffen had seven aces for Coast Union (3-3, 2-0 Coast Valley League), who host Coastal Christian on Thursday.
Templeton 3, Lompoc 0
Templeton girls volleyball got a win Tuesday night over Los Padres League foe Lompoc in straight sets.
Emily Burns and Katie Bolts had seven kills each for the Eagles in the 25-12, 25-9, 25-10 win. Hannah McRoy added 18 assists and four aces.
Templeton (9-6, 3-0 LPL) hosts Morro Bay on Thursday.
