San Luis Obispo High’s Callum Bolger won the boys race at the Ojai Invitational on Saturday.
Bolger ran the 3.05-mile course at Lake Casillas in 15 minutes, 21 seconds — a school record for the course, Tigers coach Steve Boaz said.
Bolger beat Foothill’s Moses Bojorquez by 14 seconds.
Matt White finished 15th in 17:00, and Kobi Kelly was 18th in 17:05 for the Tigers. There were more than 250 runners in the boys event.
“It was a good day for us. Really good day in the heat,” Boaz said. “A great day for Callum. He should be exciting for us this year.”
