Cal Poly volleyball team sweeps Cal State Fullerton

The Cal Poly volleyball team rolled to its second sweep in as many matches, winning at Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night.

Raeann Griesen had 16 kills in Cal Poly’s 25-17, 25-18, 25-20 victory.

Adlee Van Winden added 13 kills for the Mustangs (19-6, 11-3 Big West Conference). Cal Poly did not lose a set to the Titans (0-26, 0-14 Big West) in their two meetings this season.

It was the Mustangs’ 11 sweep of the season, the most they’ve had since 2007.

Taylor Nelson had 30 assists, and Nicole Kessler had 14 digs for Cal Poly, which returns home to host Big West leader Hawaii on Thursday.
