Cal Poly men’s soccer team grabs dramatic draw at UCSB

The Cal Poly men’s soccer team rallied for a late goal to force overtime and earned a 2-2 draw with UC Santa Barbara at Harder Stadium on Saturday night in front of 14,919 fans, the largest-ever crowd for a Blue-Green rivalry game.

Freshman forward Jared Pressley scored with four second remaining in the game to force overtime for the Mustangs (9-3-4, 4-1-3 Big West Conference), putting away a shot after a scramble in front of the Gauchos’ goal.

Chase Minter scored in the 73rd minute for Cal Poly, which trailed 2-0 at the time.

Ahinga Selemani and Nick DuPuy scored for UC Santa Barbara (10-5-2, 5-2-1 Big West).
