Cal Poly Devon Lotito wrestler won his three matches at 133 pounds Friday at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Invitational to advance to the semifinals. Kyle Chene (157 pounds) and Atticus Disney (285 pounds) are still in contention in the wrestlebacks.
Lotito won his first two decisions 6-3 and 6-2 and won with a 10-1 major decision in the quarterfinal round to improve to 13-3 on the season. He faces top-ranked Logan Stieber of Ohio State in this morning’s semifinal round.
Chene lost his first match in a 3-1 decision, but rebound with a 6-4 sudden-victory decision and 5-2 and 12-9 decisions to reach wrestlebacks.
Disney advanced to the quarterfinals after 5-3 and 14-10 decisions, but lost by injury default.
Cal Poly is in 17th place out of 32 teams with 21.5 points. Ohio State is first with 85, followed by Missouri at 80.5, and Cornell at 53.5.

Three Cal Poly swimmers qualified for the second day of the meet.
Mackey Hopen finished first in his heat in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 54.85 seconds. Paolo Stanchi finished 23rd in the 400 individual medley in 3:55.51.
On the women’s side, Angie Haven finished in 33rd place in the 100 breaststroke with 1:02.98.
