Cal Poly junior Andre Dome advanced to the second round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships on Monday at Tulsa with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Texas’ Alex Hilliard.
Dome, an Arroyo Grande High grad who was ranked as the No. 62 preseason singles player in the country, will face Georgia’s Ignacio Taboada, ranked No. 110, today.
Taboada made it to the second round by topping Stanford’s John Morrissey, 6-4, 6-2.

The Cal Poly women’s golf team finished in fourth place at Monarch Dunes in Nipomo, while the men’s team finished fifth.
For the women’s team, Asia Adell finished tied for fourth, shooting 5-over 76 in the third round to finish with a two-day, 54-hole 229 total.
Kirsten Locke added a sixth-place finish for the Mustangs, carding a final-day 81 for a 230 total.
Cal Poly finished with a four-person 939 team total, 22 strokes off Cal State Fullerton’s first-place 917. Seattle’s Caitlin McCleary earned medalist honors by shooting a 66, 77 and 74 for a 217 total and won the tournament by nine strokes.
On the men’s side, Grant Martens posted the Mustangs’ best score, shooting a third-round 76 for a 222 total, tying for 20th place. Bryce Greeley tied for 23rd with a 223 after a final-day 75, along with teammate Scott Patterson, who had identical third-round and total scores.
The Mustangs’ 890 team total was 29 strokes off the Cal State Fullerton first-place 861. UCLA’s Pedro Figueiredo was the medalist, shooting a third-round 67 to finish with a 211 total.
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL Keddy is Big West Player of Week
Cal Poly junior middle blocker Jennifer Keddy was named the Big West Conference Player of the Week.
Keddy, a 6-foot-4 Missoula, Mont. native, averaged 6.2 kills, 2.8 digs and 1.2 blocks per set this past weekend while hitting .531 (committing just three errors), leading the Mustangs (7-10, 2-2) to home sweeps over UC Davis and Pacific.

Hauser, from Chino Hills, had eight saves during his first career start, leading the Mustangs (4-3-2, 1-0-0) to a 1-0 win at then-No. 7-ranked UC Irvine on Sept. 28.
