Ryan DesRoches keeps adding to his collection of pinfall victories at Cal Poly.
The 165-pound junior wrestler needed just four minutes, 32 seconds to add three more falls to his total, leading the Mustangs to dual victories over Southern Oregon, Cal Baptist and Menlo College on Friday in Mott Gym.
DesRoches pinned Nick Dumolt of Southern Oregon in 1:27, Kenneth Tribble of Cal Baptist in 2:32 and Adam Obad of Menlo College in just 33 seconds, lifting his total number of falls this season to 11. DesRoches collected 17 of his 34 wins by pinfall as a sophomore.
Cal Poly beat Southern Oregon 36-9, Cal Baptist 31-15 and Menlo College 30-15 to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Boris Novachkov also won three matches for Cal Poly at 141, pinning Kyle Wirkuty of Southern Oregon in 2:15 and earning a 17-4 major decision against Christian Martinez of Menlo College.

Despite the fact Cuesta’s two top scorers were a combined 4 for 24 from the floor, the Cougars found themselves down by just one point with under a minute to go in the first round of the San Joaquin Delta Tournament.
Delta (2-6) hit two free throws to build the lead to three points, and after a missed 3-pointer for the tie, the Cougars (7-5) had the game slip away.
Casey Rodgers (13.3 ppg) and Malte Kramer (22.3 ppg) struggled from the field and scored just 10 points each, including hitting just 1 for 13 from 3-point range.
Overall, the Cougars shot 5 for 27 from behind the arc.

The Cougars (2-9) were hounded into committing 35 turnovers, including a game-high 13 from guard Rachael Warner.
Jayme Salim scored a team-high 15 points and added six rebounds, while Kati Sheldon had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Warner had seven points, five assists and four rebounds for the Cougars.
