Cal Poly scored again in the 80th minute when Joseph Bolous slotted a through ball on the left side that found Jared Pressley, who put away his first goal of the season.
UC Irvine made things interesting late, scoring four minutes later. Michael Salazar found room in the box and then found the back of the net. Romario Lomeli assisted on the play.
