Cal Poly women’s soccer player Elise Krieghoff was named the Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
It was the ninth time in her career that Krieghoff has won the weekly award, the most for any individual in Big West history.
Krieghoff, a senior, scored two goals in two games as the Mustangs tied two games last week.
Her goal early in the first half proved to be enough for Cal Poly to earn a 1-1 draw against No. 6 BYU on Thursday, only the second goal BYU has allowed this year. She also scored the Mustangs’ lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Pepperdine on Sunday, and has 49 goals in her career.
