Goalkeeper Alyssa Giannetti made six saves, and the Cal Poly women’s soccer team earned a scoreless draw against No. 13 Cal on Sunday at Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
It was the 18th career shutout for Giannetti, the fifth-highest total in school history.
Caitlyn Kreutz put two of her three shots on goal for Cal Poly.
The Mustangs (4-2-3) hung on to the shutout, despite being outshot 22-11 by Cal, including 8-2 in the two overtime periods. The Golden Bears also had a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Emma Fletcher took five shots, and Heather Walleigh had two shots on goal for Cal (6-1-2).
