Nick Flair hit a sixth-inning grand slam to break open a close game, and the San Luis Obispo Blues went on to win a summer collegiate baseball game over the Neptune Beach Pearl, 10-5 on Sunday at SLO Stadium.
Dylan Munger allowed two runs — one earned — in four innings to pick up the win for the Blues (18-10). He struck out two and didn’t walk a batter.
Flair finished 1 for 4 with two runs scored and four RBI. His homer was part of a six-run sixth inning that gave the Blues a 9-2 lead.
Taylor Anderson was 2 for 3 with a run, a double and two RBI, and Matt Shortall was 2 for 4 with two runs, a double and an RBI for the Blues.

North County Indians drop doubleheader
The Menlo Park Legends scored 24 runs in two games in a sweep of the North County Indians in a summer collegiate baseball doubleheader.
In a 20-12 loss in the first game, Bryce Gerhardt was 3 for 4 with four RBI, Mac Stuart was 3 for 5 with two RBI, and Aaron Ashton hit two doubles and had two RBI for the Indians. Tyler Kollman also had two hits and two RBI.
The Indians mustered only two hits and lost 4-0 in the second game.
North County’s Scott Kaul allowed four runs — three earned — in six innings, giving up eight hits while striking out two and walking one.
Brian Mundell and Jason Brown had one hit apiece for the Indians (16-5).
