Cal Poly rounds out tennis staff

Former Ohio State tennis standout Emily DeCamilla has been named an assistant Cal Poly women’s tennis coach, and former Mustang standout Jocelyn Davis has been announced as a student assistant.

DeCamilla arrives at Cal Poly after serving as an assistant coach with the Georgetown men’s and women’s programs from 2007 to 2009. DeCamilla earned most valuable player when she was a senior at Ohio State in 2005.

Davis, who posted a 43-24 singles mark and a 28-15 doubles record while competing for the Mustangs from 2008 to 2012, will assist in practice sessions, practice planning and operational duties.

The Mustangs open the season Oct. 12-14 at the Saint Mary’s Invitational.
