Austin Kingsolver had four hits, the Blues pitching staff flexed its muscle, and San Luis Obispo beat Team Vegas 13-4 in a season-ending summer collegiate baseball game Sunday at SLO Stadium.
The Blues (32-17,24-12 California Collegiate League) used nine different pitchers, employing a new one at the beginning of each inning as everyone got in the act in the team’s finale.
Kingsolver had a triple among his four hits, driving in four runs. He was also hit by a pitch.
Matt Freeman picked up his fourth win of the summer, striking out two in his one inning of work.

Cory Burleson and Cuesta College’s Max Duval had two hits for San Luis Obispo, which ended the season five games behind the league champion Santa Barbara Foresters.
San Luis Obispo Rattlers 7, Conejo Oaks 4Gabe Loweree had two hits, scored twice and drove in two to lead the Rattlers (21-26, 11-25 CCL) to a season-ending win.
Richie Mirowski pitched six solid innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five to get the win.
Cuesta’s Matt Anderson and Mitchell Prophet and incoming Cal Poly freshman Jimmy Allen had two hits each for San Luis Obispo. Former San Luis Obispo High standout Davey Schultz added a two-run single to give the Rattlers a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning.
