Matt Juengel’s three-run double capped a four-run fifth inning to help the San Luis Obispo Blues beat Team Vegas Baseball Club 6-3 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Dylan Gavin singled in Mike Kindel to get the Blues on the board in the third, but San Luis Obispo trailed 3-1 after three innings.
The Blues (5-6) got an insurance run in the eighth on a Chad Christensen RBI single.
Closer Sean Johnson allowed a leadoff triple in the ninth before striking out the next three batters to close the game.

The San Luis Obispo Rattlers allowed five runs in the ninth inning to fall at SLO Stadium.
Leading 8-7 and needing just three outs to win, Todd Simko allowed a leadoff double and a walk before giving way to Rattlers closer Marc Damon.
Damon struck out the first batter but the tying run eventually scored on a throwing error on a double-steal attempt.
The Packers got a bunt single to take the lead and scored three more runs before retiring the Rattlers (7-5) in order to close out the game.
