Lux’s homer leads Tulsa to 6-1 win over Frisco

FRISCO, Texas (AP) -- Gavin Lux hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning, leading the Tulsa Drillers to a 6-1 win over the Frisco RoughRiders on Wednesday.

The home run by Lux scored Josh Thole to give the Drillers a 3-1 lead.

The Drillers later added two runs in the sixth and one in the ninth. In the sixth, DJ Peters hit a two-run double, while Chris Parmelee hit a solo home run in the ninth.

Tulsa right-hander Dustin May (3-5) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on just three hits over 6 2/3 innings. Opposing starter Jonathan Hernandez (2-5) took the loss in the Texas League game after allowing five runs and seven hits over five innings.
