Local papers are still important

My mother was a reporter and editor for several hometown newspapers, so I understand the importance and need for local newspaper, and I have been reading and following The Tribune since we moved up here.

I can see these are hard times for a local paper, and it has to be frustrating. But remember, it is worth the effort, even if you have been reduced from printing “all the news that’s fit to print!” to “all the news that fits!”
