Regarding the Cal Poly scoreboard, perhaps a little creative writing could solve the problem.
One idea is to do it Hollywood style — leave the name but add a subtitle, so it reads “Moriarty Enterprises/Winner of Seven Felony Convictions.”
Another might be the truth-in-advertising method — “Moriarty Enterprises/Paid for this with part of the $22 million stolen from 170 investors.”
The bankruptcy trustee probably couldn’t do a thing about it.
