There is a group of women in our community who meet twice a year, for 30 minutes, and hear a short presentation from three women about the nonprofit organizations they represent.
They vote, tally up and each writes a check for $100 to the group of their choice. They have been meeting and donating for the past eight years. They make their donations anonymously with no fanfare. What a novel and wonderful way to make a huge difference for nonprofits on the Central Coast.
Hope’s Village was fortunate enough to be chosen for their generous gift this spring. Today we send our heartfelt thanks to the “100+ Women Who Care, San Luis Obispo.”
