Human kindness

I am writing to thank the gentleman who stopped to assist me when I fell from my bicycle while riding on Corbett Canyon in Arroyo Grande on April 15. This particular road is fairly difficult to bike on, and when my tire skidded on gravel, I very quickly hit the pavement. I was a bit stunned but tried to get up when a gentleman stopped his car, got out and offered his assistance. I was very appreciative but failed to get his name to thank him. He offered to drive me home or to help me walk my bike home. I was so grateful for his kindness!

As a senior citizen, I have found that biking is a good mode of transportation. The roads aren’t always pleasant, and neither are all of the drivers I share the road with, but when something like this happens, I’m just so grateful for human kindness!
