Fish before people?

The citizens of San Luis Obispo County have continued to sacrifice to save water. Everyone knows we are in adrought. The governor even made national headlines letting everyone in the world know this fact.

What puzzles me is, while citizens are trying to save water, the Bureau of Reclamation drained Folsom and other reservoirs on the American and Stanislaus rivers of more than 70,000 acre-feet of water to help nudge baby salmon toward the Pacific Ocean in 2014. This year, the government is ordering 4.8 billion gallons of water for six fish to be released.

I don’t think it is a stretch to conclude that the environmentalists are running the state and the water allocations. Who else would put fish before people? Stop the madness.
