More, more, more. More tourists, more houses, more hotels, more shopping, more people and more cars. When is enough enough?
I know we can’t stop growth, but how about having planned growth? What about expanding roads built before the houses are built and the people and cars arrive? We are already experiencing traffic issues here! Why do we want to follow the same recipe as Los Angeles and now Santa Barbara, where there are not enough roads to handle the amount of cars? We live here because it’s not L.A.!
Please stop the insanity and create a new recipe for controlled and planned growth that will set SLO County apart from the rest and keep it as a special place for future generations.
Why can’t we be different and create a new recipe for managed growth? Shouldn’t we learn from the past and be smarter about how we will live in the future?
