Your anti-Hillary Clinton March 5 and 12 cartoons continue to perpetrate tiresome (albeit politically calculated) misperceptions.
Whitewater: The Clintons were never prosecuted, as three separate inquiries found insufficient evidence linking them with the criminal conduct of others. Bill Clinton’s political hit man was Ken Starr, who represented Blackwater, advocated on behalf of Prop. 8, defended statutory rapist Jeffrey Epstein and child molester Christopher Kloman.
Benghazi: Rep. Darrell Issa suggested Hillary Clinton gave a “standdown order,” though as Secretary of State at the time, she was not in the military chain of command.
Emailgate: In November, 2014, President Barack Obama signed H.R. 1233, modernizing the Federal Records Act of 1950 to include electronic communications. It was signed two years after Hillary Clinton stepped down as Secretary of State.
Amazingly, the bill includes language based on an amendment that Issa proposed, which would continue to allow employees to use their personal email accounts for official business “when necessary.”
