Doing amazing work

The SLO People’s Kitchen board would like to take this opportunity to thank our many volunteers who serve a hot noon meal to the hungry of San Luis Obispo 364 days a year.

We serve approximately 29,000 meals per year. We are able to do this because we have 42 serving groups, including faith-based groups, small businesses and restaurants, local hospitals, local nonprofits, and groups, and friends and coworkers.

These group members provide the food and directly serve those who are hungry. We do this work with no local, state or federal money. We are a 100 percent volunteer organization.

SLO People’s Kitchen is a good example of how many people working together can do amazing work.

SLO Peoples Kitchen has been serving for more than 33 years.

Thank you for the support that the community gives us.
