OK, Charter: Enough is enough! What makes you think people will respond to seemingly endless doses of Charter Spectrum Triple Play advertisements?
The local stations running it are no better. Is it really worth alienating your viewers and causing them to tune out? I think this advertising “campaign” is being run on all the local stations in lieu of fees, or as broadcasters refer to it, a trade-out. I used to be in the programming end of the business, and I was constantly battling with sales departments. They don’t seem to realize that were it not for viewers or listeners tuning in and staying tuned in, they would have nothing to sell.
Now, back to Charter, if they were the only game in town, I would take up more reading, movies and plays. I honestly don’t think any person with a modicum of intelligence responds to saturation ad vertising like that, and all I can say is thank goodness for the invention of the mute button!
