A parklet outside Top Dog in Morro Bay is not what the city needed when there is a community gathering place full of seating right across the street.
On top of that, Top Dog already has an outside backyard seating area — so why not just advertise that it is available, instead of taking consumer parking spaces in front? Who made this illogical decision?
There is also another area they can develop for community seating and gathering on the corner of Beach and Main streets. Why take consumers’ already limited parking? This City Council makes no sense at all.
