The Grover Beach Home Instead Senior Care staff would like to thank The Tribune for helping to get the word out about our 10th annual “Be a Santa to a Senior” program.
We’d also like to thank Elias Nimeh of the San Luis Obispo Senior Nutrition Program as well as the Central Coast Senior Center, Peoples’ Self-Help Housing and local referral providers for their assistance in identifying seniors in need, as well as handling many deliveries.
Some of our wonderful helpers were the offices of Leopold, Murphy and Main Dentistry, San Luis Surgery Center and last, but definitely not least, KSBY-TV.
Once again, the residents of our community have shown their generosity and thoughtfulness and made our holiday community service program a success.
The donations and efforts of our community made sure 200 seniors in need who may have been overlooked received 543 gifts and companionship this holiday season. We could not have done it without every single one of you.
