Let’s be clear — everyone is for water. To suggest that only a select group in Cambria is in favor of acquiring what we all need to live is ludicrous.
On Nov. 4, we are voting for Jeff Hellman, who, in fact, supports the emergency water supply project. Jeff has an MBA in finance from USC and has had a successful career as a business owner.
We are also voting for Rick Hawley, who served as executive director for Greenspace for over 18 years, providing leadership for the organization in land acquisition, forest health management, creek restoration and monitoring and environmental education. Both Cambria Community Service District candidates are strong proponents of transparency and will consider the needs of residents, businesses and the environment of our beloved Cambria.
