Thank you for your excellent article on Sunday’s climate march in New York. An impressive 300,000 people came out to express their concern about what is probably the greatest problem facing humanity today.
It’s too bad this article didn’t mention that climate marches simultaneously took place in over 2,800 locales in 166 countries, bringing out millions of people. It’s also too bad that you had no coverage of the local climate march, organized by Assembly candidate Heidi Harmon. About 300 people showed up to express their solidarity with the big-city marches.
The time for action on climate change is now! Many people agree that the best solution to the problem would be a revenue-neutral carbon fee and dividend. For more information about this, look up the Citizens’ Climate Lobby on the Internet.
