I do not live in Paso Robles, but I spend time up there on business and visiting family and friends. It is probably none of my business. However, I just could not resist the urge to write this letter. In my humble opinion, $63,250 would be spent much more wisely on repairing the roads than sweeping them (“Sweepers to hit Paso’s streets,” July 25). For six years, they have gone without sweeping but have deteriorated to the point that my shock absorbers need replacing.
