Tired of deviousness

Truthiness — “the quality of preferring concepts or facts one wishes to be true, rather than concepts or facts known to be true,” is my interpretation of Nancy Johnson’s concession statement, “... and the deviousness in our local politics ...”

I am tired of Ms. Johnson and others who have been at the head of the deviousness game turning around and accusing others of what they themselves have been doing for decades. Nancy Johnson received only 36 percent of the votes for a reason. I am done with the politics of bullying and harassment.

Yes, Ms. Johnson, thank you for deciding to leave and for taking your public “deviousness” with you. I need this new breath of kind words, ethical behavior and better vision for Morro Bay that I have experienced from Noah Smukler, Christine Johnson, Jamie Irons and now Matt Makowetski, who won 61 percent of the vote, also for a reason.
