While reading Wednesday’s Tribune, a man referenced one of the many “voter guides” we as an electorate are receiving. What most people do not realize is that these “guides” are in no way an endorsement by the particular group. Anyone with the money to purchase a spot in the guide (and who is the first to send in money) gets his or her name in the guide.
As we discovered when my husband ran for public office several years ago, most of the guides are owned by the same company and do not reflect, in any way shape or form, an actual endorsement. Just throw this trash away, because that’s all it is.
