I must have missed it.
I read The Tribune every day, but somehow I missed it or it wasn’t published, as I am sure that by now there has been a trial and Lois Lerner, former head of the IRS, is serving time for her assault against conservatives and the Tea Party. I am sure that by now we have a new national attorney general, but I don’t remember reading that Eric Holder was fired for his role and cover up in supplying more than 2,000 arms to the Mexican drug cartels in the Fast and Furious scandal.
More than a year ago, our ambassador to Libya and three other American heroes died in Benghazi after they had repeatedly begged for more security and then for help at the onset of the attack there, but it has been quite a while now and The Tribune has yet to publish who has been held accountable for this dereliction of duty — or did I just miss it?
I can only think had these events happened under the watch of George W. Bush, The Tribune and the other news sources would have been all over it.
