Social Security

Our “do nothing” government of the House and Senate and our president, Barack Obama, has done nothing to save and reform Social Security and Medicare for this generation and for future generations, leaving the year 2037 in question, when all funds are tapped out to pay benefits. It’s not just the seniors — it includes the disabled who will be affected too, without proper reform.

I am tired of the status quo “do nothing” without representation to our American citizens young, middle-aged and old. For some people, in the United States of America, Social Security is their only income. It is time for a look to saving the programs before it comes to a bankrupted end.
