Letters to the Editor

The one in between

I get a kick out of letters from writers of one political side or the other and how they seem to only give their side and leave out pertinent points.

As an example, I will refer to the letter from T. Keith Gurnee telling of the lies of two of our last three presidents. I would like to mention he left out the guy in the middle. You remember the one with the WMDs — weapons of mass destruction — and al-Qaida in Iraq. Oh yeah, and how about “Mission Accomplished?”

In the words of a famous TV judge, he would have be given a “liar, liar pants on fire.” As for the lying, they all lie, as they are politicians and how else would they get elected?
