What’s actually unfair

I read the Los Angeles Times article “Californians feel pinch of health reform” that was printed in the Oct. 28 edition. It seemed a bit odd to me that the Fullerton resident (Jennifer Harris, a lawyer) was complaining about the unfairness of making her pay to cover “health insurance for every one else.” At $98 per month previously and $238 per month now, does she really believe that she isn’t being carried by others? Especially considering that she is three months pregnant, her monthly contribution won’t come close to covering her costs to the system.
