Health half-truths

I’m tired of the scare tactics, the half-truths and the innuendos from the opponents of Obamacare as to how it will cost jobs and increase their insurance premiums. The insurance companies and the opponents simply don’t know what the cost will be at this time.

I was in the insurance business for more than 30 years, and at that time, the costs were determined by losses paid, overhead and reserves. None of these are yet available for Obamacare. Forget about the scare tactics. Using the above-mentioned factors; they can determine the rates and make necessary adjustments to the program.

As far as businesses reducing the workweek to 20 hours, perhaps if they would apply a portion of those outrageous executive salaries to their employees, it wouldn’t be necessary to reduce hours.
